Elizabeth O’Brien

Hi, I’m Elizabeth!

I am a consultant, speaker, psychotherapist, and founder of The Shift Shop. I have over twenty years of clinical experience as a psychotherapist with my own practice and have been consulting for over a decade. I have been recognized as an expert in women’s well-being and business development.

I have contributed to articles in The Washington Post and Atlanta Magazine, and have been featured on podcasts, and an ebook. In 2017, I founded the award-winning Postpartum Support International Georgia Chapter (PSI-GA) where I served as president for a term and continue to be an active volunteer on the board. This chapter has become a national leader recognized for its fundraising, innovative training courses, and mentorship of other PSI chapters. Additionally, I am a nationally recognized leader and the 2019 winner of the Carolyn Wetzel Continuum Award honoring my role as an agent for positive change for the health and well-being of Georgia families.

I have been an advocate for women for over thirty years, with strongly held beliefs in equity, wellness, and empowerment. My ethics inform all my work and always seek to inspire the spirit of levity.

I am a highly intuitive and strategic thinker, allowing me to distill the essence of my clients’ and participants’ behavioral patterns. I am grounded in somatic work, helping to anchor transformation in those I work with.

I love to get into the water––a bathhouse, bathtub, hot springs, all water is my happy place. On the map, i most love to be on the soft moss looking over the cliff from our property in southeast Alaska.
